Angela Davis is a holistic health counselor, food activist, and founder and director of Nourishing Works Holistic Nutrition and Wellness Counseling.  She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, which is affiliated with Columbia University and received her certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.  She has a Master of Education degree from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College. She regularly volunteers at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts to continue to develop her love for cooking delicious and health supportive food.

As a holistic health counselor, Angela is dedicated to empowering her clients to take charge of their own health and make positive changes that will nourish them, body and soul.  She seeks to help her clients make eco-friendly food and lifestyle choices that support a better environment and healthy planet.  

Angela is also the Community Food Education Coordinator for Just Food, a nonprofit organization that works to increase the number of New Yorkers that have access to local, organic food and supports regional independent family farmers. She is a resident of Brooklyn and a member of the Park Slope Food Co-op, the country’s largest member owned cooperative natural food store.
