Nourishing Tallow Cream 65ml

WHAT IS TALLOW?

Tallow is a powerful moisturiser loaded with a wealth of nutrients, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Simply put, tallow is a type of purified and highly stable at room temperature animal fat that is therapeutic when applied to our skin.

Fats, along with proteins, are essential building blocks for every cell membrane, including the skin. They provide energy, help absorb minerals, and are loaded with vitamins.

Tallow is the result of a delicate process of rendering animal suet. Suet is a nutrient-dense fat that surrounds the organs of ruminant animals, most notably their kidneys.

Here at Nourishing Works, we source and hand-render our suet, which comes from humanely-raised, organically-cared-for, grass-fed cows. We chose organic grass-fed suet for making our skincare because it’s free from synthetic growth hormones and is high in nutrients that you just don’t find from grain-fed, factory-farmed cattle.

Ingredients: grass-fed tallow*, virgin tamanu oil**, sustainably-sources palm oil**, extra virgin olive oil**, avocado oil**, castor oil**, hemp seed oil**, calendula, arnica and hypericum infused oil**, sea buckthorn fruit oil**, magnesium chloride oil*, vitamin E*.

*organic

**organic and cold-pressed.

Testimonials:

I tried Nourishing Tallow Cream and fell in love with it. It feels more like a balm that quickly warms in your hands and soaks into the skin. It is super absorbent, light, smells devine and feels wonderful on my skin. After using the cream my skin felt well hydrated, and velvety.

I have very dry, sensitive skin and psoriasis spots on my elbows, arms and neck. I tried many natural creams that claim to be “for psoriasis”, but those have never worked, and I always needed to go back to steroid based creams for the problem spots. I also experienced that after using some natural creams my skin was itchy and tingly.

I have read about the benefits of the tallow cream and decided to try Nourishing Works creams. Since, using the Nourishing Tallow Cream over the last two weeks, redness and itchiness on psoriasis spots have disappeared.
